Who: Malala is a person that wanted girls to get the education that boys did. But she and her friends got shot because they thought that a bullets would keep girls quiet.
Why: Malala wanted girls to get the same education as boys, make a change in the world and help women rights. Boys did not have to work to go to school and girls had to work a lot to go to school.
What: Malala helped lots of girls to get an education by changing people’s minds so girls could go to school. They shot Malala with a bullet but it did not stop her.
Where: Malala was shot in Pakistan. But she was on her way to school and she got shot on her way to school. She got shot by a member on the Taliban because she was speaking up for girls.
When: Malala Yousafzai was shot on October 9, 2012 when she was fifteen years old. Malala did her speech in front of a thousand of people on July 12, 2013 on her 16th birthday.
